Phil Campbell & Estabans Deathmatch Entry
Hope you like it. Onion renamed to estaban recently because it works better for them in the "music industry" - a friend of mine sam and his band agreed to rock out seeing as they were hosting a night locally anyway. Hope you like it. :)

Someone teach me FCP please!!!! :) - love to all my fellow vloggers.

i put a comment just in case nobody left a comment. i'm scared, it might have just been a bit too random for people to get. . . rough but hey, sam is having a baby in two weeks! - what more do you want! :)
VERY fun video, Phil! :D
Lots of great energy, good music and happy people. :)
You've GOT to love live, interactive, human-title-cards! :D
Thanks Man. :) - heh.
YAYYYY
brilliant idea.
and looked like fun to do.
so many names, so many sheets of paper. did you pump everybody full of red bull and lucozade sport?
good to see the Warriors coming out to play, too.
Nothing wrong with randomness. That was great Phil!
I definitely dig the music. Does the band have a website? Good idea with the title cards too!
Wow, that must have been so much fun! As for FCP...play around with it, by the looks of things from this video I think you have already figured out some of the tougher things...
That looked like so much fun to do! The music was great! Great touch with the titles. Raw is good. :)
wow, nothing to worry about, phil. that was awesome. original, great music, fun and full of energy. awesome.
That looked like a lot of fun. I know people have said that already but I to mean it. The whole time watching it I just wanted to be there
Very clever with the paper "titles" and live audience. Goes to show you that you don't need mad editing skill to make a good video. What a fun video!
Wow, i'm like so touched guys. i was hoping i could make something that you all enjoyed (as well as myself) so thanks! - it means a lot.
As for the band, they used to be called onion, but renamed to "estaban" as it was more accessible to the music industry over here in the uk. Ones to watch! - i have a stack of "onion" cd's that sam gave me - dont have this version of mass aura on but i will drop a rip of the cd on my site.
Keep your eyes on http://r3wind.com for details. Again, thanks guys - i had real fun, pity my HD cam did not turn up in time for it.
I actually did about 50 cards for all the vloggers i like. I might take a photo of them all in a bit and stick them on flickr. I laminated them and everything!
Phil, great energy and I love low-tech physical title cards.
Where is that beginning from?
Only way to learn FCP is to jump in head first, it's fairly intuitive.
The beginning is from a film called "the warriors" - if you have not seen it you should check it out. It is not that different from the way we have little crews of vloggers. :)
that was tonz-err-fun!
love the title cards.
Phil... that is without a doubt the coolest. Please tell me that you're not going to let this all end with the Deathmatch... do more do more do... it's so hyper crazy... and everyone is outta control! we need more of this sorta thing in the music industry world...
as if you haven't heard it enough... I love the vid... and the cards rule... thank you very much for the props!
This is great! I really like the song and the video has a wonderful "real" quality to it. Good energy.
Phil, this was great! You got so many people to participate and I'm so glad you didn't have time to edit titles. They were brilliant.
too cute!
I CAN dig it!
Paper beats on-screen titles every time!
Fabulous song!
wow, lots of love in this. looks like a lot of fun. and thanks for the shoutout!
oh yeah! thanks for the shout out! me likes me name too!
I might have voted for this if you had a title card with my name on it ... but you didn't ... oh well.
LOL. Bill i did. In fact i had over 60, that i printed and laminated for it on purpose, but the first take went completely wrong and the laminates were too slidy and he dropped the lot! - GRRR, they were in order too.
Good Craic by all! You know what i mean!
